We,
his family and friends, are sure that Bill survives the time-line of his seventy
years and will continue to affect the larger world, larger than his physical
life but scarcely enough space for the universality of his art, which transcends
his astounding output, one measure of his productive life, and becomes the immeasurable
spirit of a poet-philosopher, an artist. Please let us share with you the long,
long ribbon of sketches, poems paintings, stories, and sculptures that chart
a long, long life of reducing the forms in his mind to the forms in our world-a
ribbon of honesty and meaning that made a philospher/poet an artist. |
